What you need

  • Only a paper napkin

Step by Step: Napkin Rose

  • Put the folded napkin in front of you with the closed side on top, the halfclosed on the left..

  • Now tear off a strip of 0.5 - 1 cm at the left edge.

  • Do not throw away the strip, you will need it later.

  • Unfold the napkin as in the picture.

  • Fold up the napkin like an accordion.

  • Then try to find the exact center.

  • Bind the napkin strip around the center and make a knot.

  • Now pull away carefully the first napkin layer from the other layers on one side.

  • Do the same with the other layers. (Normally there are altogether 6 layers.)
