Funny Paper Figures

Step by step: It is easy to make funny paper figures!

Paper Figures

What you need

  • 2 differently coloured paper squares (approx. 3 " (7,5 cm) side length) for the head with hat
  • 1 square (approx. 8 " side length) for the body
  • Some paper for the hands
  • Scissors, adhesive, a pen

What you do

For the head
How to fold paper figures
  • Put the two smaller squares on top of each other.
Paper Crafts
  • Fold the double paper along the central diagonal.
  • Unfold it again and bend the left hand corners so that they touch the crease mark.

  • Turn the figure 90 degrees clockwise.
  • Fold the bottom corner back and up.
  • Paint the face. The head is finished.

For the body

  • For the body take the larger paper.

  • Fold it along the central diagonal.

  • Then fold the left corner over the right.

  • Open the inner tip and fold it down to the bottom right corner.

  • Then straighten the right side.
How to craft with paper
  • Repeat the steps on the other side.

  • Fold the front bottom corner up so it touches the top corner.
  • Turn the figure and repeat the step.
Figure
  • Now fold the left and right hand lower edges so they touch the central line.
  • Afterwards fold the two upper edges to the central line.

  • First fold the feet outwards. Then sideways so that the inside comes out.
Paper Figures  

  • Finally cut out the hands and glue them and the head on. Now you have a funny paper figure!
